Booking your stay.

Enquiries and availability

Submitting information to the enquiry tool, opening an email draft, or sending an email does not reserve a room. The site does not display live inventory or instantly confirm accommodation.

Monthly rates

A 30-night stay for one guest costs US$1,499 in a private room or US$2,000 in a deluxe suite, with meals included. Other stay lengths and additional guests are quoted individually. Airport transfers are quoted separately.

Your written quote

Before accepting, check your dates, room allocation, occupancy, total price and currency, taxes or charges, included services, exclusions, and any group arrangements. Private chef service, laundry, and a safari experience are included. Confirm these arrangements in your quote, including the safari destination, date, duration, itinerary, transport, park entry, and what is covered. Optional excursions and other extras should be listed separately, with any additional charges agreed in advance.

Scholarships

Scholarships to cover accommodation are available through a separate enquiry and award process. Your written award sets out the dates, accommodation covered, and any conditions. Do not assume that meals, laundry, safari, airport transfers, or other costs are covered unless your award explicitly includes them.

Confirmation and payment

Ask the host for the payment schedule, accepted payment method, deposit requirements, and written booking confirmation. This website does not collect payments or guarantee a reservation. Confirm payment instructions directly through an established contact channel.

Changes, cancellations, and refunds

These depend on the terms supplied for your specific booking. Request the cancellation deadlines, charges, refund conditions, and process for date changes before accepting a quote or paying. No general free-cancellation promise is made here.

Rooms and facilities

Request current room photographs and confirm bed arrangements, bathroom facilities, access, connectivity, equipment, and any essential support.

Travel and academic work

You are responsible for your travel arrangements and for obtaining relevant entry, institutional, ethical, and research permissions. Any community visit or activity requires separate agreement. Residency accommodation does not confer academic credit or formal affiliation.

House arrangements

Confirm arrival and departure times, visitors, children, pets, smoking arrangements, quiet hours, and any other requirements with the host before booking. Group leaders should share agreed house guidance with their participants.
